Mt. Norquay Banff Wedding | Tanya & Stefan

They met in Ireland. While Calgary is home for Tanya and Germany for Stefan, their love story just gets even better as Stefan moved to Calgary and found a home with Tanya. Nothing is better than getting married surrounded by the magestic Canadian Rockies, two cultures bound as one. Here`s to many adentures and happily ever after!

A traditional Ceremony was held at the Rocky Mountain Hotel before heading to St. Gregory of the PInes church in Banff. It was such an incredible moment to witness this kind of family bond and celebration.

The reception was held at Mt. Norquay Ski Resort. Log sawing Ceremony is an old German wedding custom tradition of cutting a log. This represents the first obstacle that the couple must overcome in their marriage. They must work together to “overcome the obstacle” by sawing through the log. Fun!

And the dancing continues…

Thank you so much for having us!
